any true fan of the post-apoc must read. warning of emps (electro-magnetic pulse) that renders all electronics w computer-anything useless. his characters are his own family in his own town.

sequal to oryx and crake. amazing, in a way, better than the first. a strange extremist group of vegetarian tree-hugers living on a roof gardening somehow gets involved with the end of the world.

creepy book and written strangely simply but you get used to it, almost makes it creepier. lots of wandering around with a shopping cart. note: not for the faint of stomach. there is canablism in this book.

the SCARIEST horror book you'll ever read. not for gore, not for blood, but for thought. it makes you think about the weirdest things like a room being 1/2 an inch bigger inside than outside and it expanding. it will get you very paranoid.

oddly written in little paragraphs, goes back and forth between characters but not confusing. the story of some people in mexico, and they end up in a symbolic book with the world imploding as they fight the author. very strange.

i know it's a kids book but it was my first post-apoc and it's all about the importance of the writer and reading : )

sequel to sabriel. this one deals with someone in a library learning her powers

may not be my fav of favs but it's got good short stories, very interesting at times, calming read.

one of the few philip k dick books i've tried to read and liked. this one is crazy weird. they fall off a giant bridge in a warehouse lab and get knocked unconcious and go through eachother's realities. very odd. very creepy twilight-zone feel.
