Sanyo Eneloop D-size battery adapter. Even though 85% of all disposable batteries sold are either AA or AAA size, there are still some applications, which require other battery sizes. The two next common sizes are C and D. Typical examples, where these sizes are required are big flashlights or portable radios. For these cases Sanyo offers simple but smart plastic adaptors, which transform a AA-size eneloop into either a C- or D-size battery. (The product for sale here only converts AA to D) Just plug the eneloop into the adaptor and you can use it in your equipment. Of course the adaptors only adapt the mechanical dimensions of the eneloop (length and diameter) and obviously not its electrical characteristics. The voltage and the capacity remains unchanged to the eneloop AA specification.

It needs to come with quarters.
I disagree with most of the reviewers here that the batteries are too loose. If anything it makes the product easier to use because I have some other spacers and they are annoying because of the effort to switch out the batteries.

The vastly simple solution to the AA battery popping out on the negative side is to stick a quarter, or a nickel in-between the battery terminal and the negative (flat) end of the AA battery.

Works
Get these and the chargers if you have a baby swing. It'll save you hundreds of dollars in that first year.

Holds batteries too loose in the adapter
Agree that this item is poorly designed - I've used other brand "C" and "D" adapters that worked much better. Bateries are too loose in the adapter and they do not 'snap' into place to hold their position the way other adapters do.
